Simple Thought

I think I just totally need to cut out sugar.

Ugh.

Any suggestions?

Possibly the first to be to wait till after TOM???

Nah - let's just try it now, any avoidance of sugar - even if I don't make it through the week is progress.

I'll post my progress, just for a little accountability.

  1. Augh....This is tough ~ Sugar is everywhere! My Nutritionist advised that I read labels and look for sugar. If it's in the first 4 ingredients don't buy the product. She also had me learn what sugar looks like....The ingredients could say...Sugar, white sugar, honey, sucrose, fructose, maltose, lactose, syrup, corn syrup, high fructose, corn syrup, molasses & fruit juice concentrate. (Info from Instant Diet Makeover by Alex A Lluch) - Great book by the way. It's like a pocket book full of info - no fluff. Just information. I found it very helpful.

    I don't think you can totally illuminate sugar, but you sure can reduce the intake.
